The Homebuying Journey
STEP 2 | HOME SEARCH
Using that qualification from step one, it's time to start the fun part, home shopping! View homes with your real estate agent and check in with me for estimated payments on each home you are interested in before you see them.
STEP 4 | UNDERWRITING
Your offer has be an accepted, the lender will start to finalize your loan approval. The home you're buying will be appraised and inspected as needed. An underwriter may ask for updated documentation during this step.
STEP 1 | PRE-APPROVAL
The first step to buying a home starts with talking to a mortgage professional such as myself. I will guide you through the initial application and the documents required to see what you qualify for.
STEP 3 | WRITE AN OFFER
You've found the home you're in love with, now your agent will help you with writing an offer and send it to the seller. You and your agent will negotiate with the seller's agent until an agreement is made.
STEP 5 | CLOSING TIME
Once we have satisfied all the underwriters requirements, your loan will be what's called "clear to close." No further documentation is needed and the only thing left to do is signing the closing documents with a notary.

I'm Spencer Sundlie, your go to person for all things mortgages. Sounds fun, right? Jokes aside, coming from a family of real estate, I found my passion in mortgage lending quickly while attending and graduating from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Business Real Estate.
